The vaccine is being given to the most at-risk first, as determined by the

Department of Health.

You will hear from us as soon as the vaccine is available to you.

There are a number of providers, so you may get the vaccine at Parkshot, or another designated vaccine centre locally.

We now have the vaccinations available for the patients below. Please contact the surgery to book an appointment.

  • Over 65
  • Under 65  Clinically at Risk
  • Nasal Flu for the children age 2 & 3 year olds ( Date of birth between 1st September 2016 to 31st August 2020 )

Children over the age of 4 year will be given the flu vaccination at school.

Please note that  people in the 50-64 year old age group will not be vaccinated until we have been instructed by the Government. No appointments will be offered for this age group until then, and at that point will be subject to vaccine supply. This is nationally directed - not the decision of the practice and is to ensure that those who are most at risk are vaccinated first.  If you are 50-64 and you are in one of the other groups which is eligible for the flu vaccination, for example you have a health condition which puts you at risk from the flu, please contact the surgery.
